About TJ Hardware

TJ Hardware, Inc. was founded back in 1983 in Tony Prando's garage at home. He had limited stock and one delivery truck. After founding the company, and doing all of the outside sales and delivery himself, Tony hired a guy to do purchasing and marketing and moved into an actual store location. After the move, Tony's son Ernest and his daughter Genny joined the team as inside and outside salespeople. Tony's other sons Mike and Tom later joined the business as well as his grandson Thomas, who took over the purchasing department. Within the last couple of years Tony's other grandson, Ryan, took over as Warehouse Manager, and is in charge of the Shipping and Receiving department.

In 1996 TJ Hardware, Inc. moved into it's current location, a 7500 square foot office/warehouse, where it continues to provide the same family owned and operated service it provided when TJ Hardware was located in Tony's garage!
